Our Story.

Hi! My name is Miranda Pisano. I'm a Fort Collins native, 1997 baby, and being a mechanic is my dream job. I started out by signing up for the automotive class in high school, to get a boyfriend (a genius plan, I know). But I quickly realized how much I actually enjoyed learning about how cars work, and even better, it made sense to me! Thus the love story of me and cars began ♥

I got a job right after high school, at a dealership washing cars, then moved my way up to lube technician. From there I had a two year apprenticeship with a brilliant mechanic who taught me everything I know. I continued on to work as a used car tech before transitioning into a certified Volvo tech. Volvo offered the opportunity for all of the female Volvo technicians in the USA & Canada (12 total at the time) to meet up for a chance to connect. I also got the opportunity to work on a SEMA build in Arizona with some leading ladies in the automotive industry. It felt like the world was my oyster! Then I had a detour when some back problems came out of nowhere (not on my bucket list at the ripe age of 25). Which sent me to a service advisor position. Since then I've had time to heal my back and learn the importance of core strength (shout out Dr. R), but also how to organize and make a shop flow smoothly.

I have had the honor of working next to some of the most talented and caring men in the industry who have always made me feel that I belong. Connecting with other women in the field has been a real highlight in my life. I want to bring the same kind of relationship to other women, whether they're just starting out, they've been around the block, or they need their cars and fixed/want to learn about how to do the basics themselves!

My goals are to make servicing your vehicle feel safe and convenient, have upfront prices so you won't be worrying about your bill until the service is over, and to bring my years of automotive experience somewhere that you feel comfortable and empowered. A bonus is being able to give women the opportunities they dream about along the way!
